Irish Centre for Talented Youth (CTYI) in Dublin City University provides summer courses for Highly Able Children. I have taught in CTYI since it began in 1993.

Since then there has been a growing appreciation among teachers in Ireland that Highly Able Children, also termed Gifted and Talented children, aren't necessarily going to achieve their potential simply because they are highly able and that these children deserve as much attention in school as any other children.

ICEP Europe provides a range of Online courses for teachers which help provide teachers with the knowledge and methodologies to assist them in their Teaching.  I am a tutor on their Gifted and Talented Course.
